The Sassicaia 2022 vintage is the current or recent release from Tenuta San Guido, receiving high critical acclaim, and is available for purchase in Thailand through various wine retailers. It is generally sold on a pre-order or limited availability basis. 

Vintage Profile
The 2022 vintage in Tuscany was characterized by a hot, dry summer, but the unique coastal and hillside microclimate of the Tenuta San Guido estate helped moderate conditions, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally. The resulting wine is noted for its: 
  • Aromas: Fresh blackberries, tart cherries, wild violets, rosemary, and juniper berries.
  • Palate: A structured, full-bodied, yet elegant profile with polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and notes of dark fruit, licorice, and mint.
  • Composition: A blend of approximately 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc.
  • Aging: Aged for about 23 months in French oak barriques (40% new) and is built for long-term cellaring, though approachable in its youth.
