Hakushu 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's mountain distillery in the forests of Mt Kai Komagatake. This sophisticated blend combines three distinct whiskies: non-peated American oak, non-peated ex-sherry cask, and lightly peated American oak matured expressions. The result is a beautifully balanced dram with subtle peat (7-9 ppm) that doesn't overpower delicate floral and fruity notes. Elegant, complex, and distinctly Japanese in character. Limited availability in select markets.
